Bhai Harkrishan Singh was born in the year of 1964, in the house of Sardar Jagsir Singh Brar and from the womb of Mata Naseeb Kaur in the village of Tamkot, near Malot. From childhood Bhai Sahib had worked on his family farms. In 1982, Bhai Sahib did his Anand Karaj with Bibi Surjit Kaur. In his life Bhai Sahib saw the birth of his son.

It was during this time that Bhai Sahib became interested in the ongoing Sikh Struggle. Mata Naseeb Kaur and other relatives of Bhai Sahib tried to stop him from getting involved in the Sikh struggle, but their attempts had failed and Bhai Sahib did sewa where needed. At first Bhai Sahib took part in protests and Dharam Yudh Morchas, from here Bhai Sahib established a contact with Sardar Jagdev Singh Khudian. It was through travelling with Sardar Jagdev Singh Khudian that Bhai Sahib met Jhujaru Singhs of Babbar Khalsa.

The Punjab police soon saw the link between Bhai Sahib and Babbar Khalsa, which led to them to harass Bhai Sahib’s family. Soon after Bhai Sahib left home and went underground, this abled Bhai Sahib to fully get involved in the movement and carry out the necessary actions as to move towards the aim of a free Sikh homeland, Khalistan.

In the end, an informant of the Punjab police had Bhai Sahib arrested Sahib the family received no news of Bhai Sahib. It is believed that Bhai Sahib was arrested and killed during torture or even arrested, tortured and then killed in a fake encounter. The body of Bhai Sahib may have been cremated as an unidentified body.
